Delete Account

Defined Dating users can request deletion of their account and associated personal information.

Delete from the app

Open Defined Dating and use the account deletion option in your profile/settings. Follow the confirmation steps shown in the app.

Delete without access to the app

If you cannot access your account, email privacy@defineddating.com from the email address associated with the account and use the subject “Delete my Defined Dating account”. We may ask for limited information to verify that the request relates to your account.

What deletion does

After a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymise personal information associated with the account from active systems, subject to limited information we are required or permitted to retain for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, safety, dispute or security reasons. Backup copies may remain until they are overwritten through normal backup cycles and are not used to recreate a deleted account.

Subscriptions

Deleting your Defined Dating account does not automatically cancel a Google Play or Apple subscription. Cancel the subscription through the relevant app store as well if you do not want future renewals.
